What to do if you have health concerns and need to undergo some of our examinations?

  1. If you have any health concerns, you first need to visit your general practitioner or another doctor with a specific specialization (orthopedist, surgeon, etc.).
  2. If your doctor finds that a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or a positron emission tomography in combination with computed tomography (PET/CT) is right for you, they will provide you with a referral to undergo the examination.
  3. With this referral, you can now schedule your examination at the Proton Therapy Center – you can either send the referral by e-mail or call us.
  4. If you call us, we will let you know the date of your appointment immediately.
  5. If you e-mail us, we will let you know the date of your appointment within 24 hours.
  6. You can download the Patient Instructions from the links below for detailed information.
    Patient Instructions – MRI
    Patient Instructions – PET/CT
  7. On the day of your examination, please come to the Proton Therapy Center about 30 minutes earlier than your appointment, and bring the original referral with the doctor’s stamp.
  8. We send the results of the examination to the doctor who issued the referral, by post, in the form of a registered letter. Upon your request, we can also send the results of the examination to your e-mail address. Please let the reception know in advance.
  9. If you or your doctor wish, we can also prepare a CD with visual documentation from your examination for a fee of CZK 200. Again, please let the staff know well in advance.
